Day 1

Um, well, I decided to try this blog thing.

As I was trying to come up with a name for this space, I realized that I am on the brink of experiencing 'empty nest syndrome.' My daughter just graduated from college, and is looking for a job. So, it will happen soon, very soon!

So, I'm going to try to post a picture -- here is the person who will soon make my home an empty nest):

Ok, so this is just the beginning. Hopefully I will be able to motivate myself to update on a fairly regular basis! (I generally am not very good at that, but I'll try!)
