Civic Duty
Last night in the mail there it was in all its official glory -- a JURY SUMMONS.
Cool, I thought -- I don't mind jury duty (although I've never actually served on a case.)
For the last 6 years I have been working on a project that finally comes to fruition this January. When is my Jury Duty scheduled? Yeah, you guessed it -- mid January!
Fortunately, it was very easy to defer service. I am now scheduled for mid-July.
I look forward to being able to serve at that time.
