To pacify you I have posted the following message on our front door.



1. Rules for non pet owners who visit and complain about our pets!

a. They live here ... you don't.

b. If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture.

c. I like my pet better than I like most people.

d. To you its an animal --- to me, its an adopted child who is short, hairy, walks on all fours and is speech challenged.

2. Dogs and cats are better than kids. They:

a. eat less,

b. are easier to train,

c. usually come when called,

d. don't ask for money,

e. never drive your car,

f. don't hang out with losers,

g. don't drink or smoke,

h. don't worry about the latest fashions,

i. don't wear your clothes and

j. don't need a gazillion dollars for college.

3. Finally if they get pregnant you can sell the results.
