Good Deeds
Well, I did my good deed for the day (week? month? year?) today.
I was in my car at a fast-food place, when the lady in the car behind me honked her horn. To be honest, I thought . o O "oh geeze -- another impatient person. It isn't MY fault that this is taking so long." She got out of her car and walked up to my car so I rolled down my window to see what she wanted-- and she asked me to call 911 for her!
She was a young gal, told me she was having heart palpitations, and was scared, especially since she had her baby in the car with her. I pushed the red emergency button on my On-star system, and got all the help we needed from the On-star representative and local emergency response team. Within minutes paramedics, fire truck and ambulance were on-scene.
